Solidarity Blogger Award

Sadje, creator of Keep It Alive, has very kindly nominated me for a second award: this time for the Solidarity Blogger Award! I’m truly grateful to her & delighted by this opportunity to reach out to new bloggers. Thank you so much! Please check out her website – she’s a brilliant writer with fantastic new content every day. 😀

What is the Solidarity Blogger Award?

SIWO (Success Inspirers’ World) is an International Friends Blogging Forum aiming to encourage teamwork and to blog together as a community. As an international friends blogging forum, SIWO provides an opportunity that every blogger is looking for – the opportunity to get more exposure and find more followers and readers through the blogging community. So if you’re nominated (and would like to take part), here are some general rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link back to their blog for other readers.
2. Tell Success Inspirers’ World (SIWO) what you think about solidarity blogging. Is it worthwhile?
3.  Nominate 10 other bloggers for the award and notify them on one of their own posts.
4.  List the rules and display a Solidarity Blogger Award logo in your post.

What is solidarity?

For me, solidarity is all about standing together with those I support and believe in, offering help and encouragement wherever I can. In the blogging community more generally, solidarity means supporting each other in a shared WordPress community; helping to encourage, inspire and assist each other in our individual blogging endeavours. This way, we promote unity and mutual support for one another in a fantastic online family together!

Pretty incredible, right?

Is solidarity blogging worthwhile?

Hell yeah! We’re all here blogging for our own individual reasons, but the community has been so supportive of new members – encouraging each other to express themselves through writing helps build such deep friendships and keeping the friendly spirit of blogging going strong. We inspire each other to achieve more, to push ourselves and help each other out. Together, we go further and reach higher. To me, that’s the core values of teamwork – community, support and family! 😀

My Terrific Ten choices:

I’ve chosen these bloggers because I strongly believe that they are truly passionate about their blogging, and actively seek to inspire others and bring something new, fresh and unique to the WordPress community on a regular basis. Please check out their blogs – you’re in for a treat!

Jenna, of The Sunshine Artist

Rachel, of Fictive Finesse

Cadie, of Cadie’s Corner

Natalie, of The Midnight Ember

Elizabeth, of Echo Edition

Rebecca, of Rust Belt Girl

Lucy, of Blonde Write More

River, of The Stories In Between

K. M. Allan

H. L. Sailer

I understand if any nominees would prefer not to nominate others with this Award, and that is totally okay. There’s no obligation to continue it onwards, but you all bring such great content to the wider WordPress family – it would be lovely to build the community further and connect new bloggers together in an ever-larger interlinked family! 😀

Feel free to spread the love and pay it forward! Happy blogging, everyone!

Tom ❤

P.S. for the next few weeks I’m going to take a brief break from Awards to prepare more short stories for you lovely readers every Monday. I’ve really excited for the New Year – looking forward to sharing new stories with you soon! 💕
