Slumdog Soldier

London, 1905. Haunted by his past, Sergeant Craig Harper is a soldier with nothing left. No family. No home. No war left to fight. All he wants to do is keep his head down and stay out of trouble on the streets of London.

But when he sees an injustice he can’t ignore, he’s pulled into a brutal world of extortion and murder, discovering a vicious gang terrorising the neighbourhood in an iron grip. As Sergeant Harper tries to do right and becomes entwined in the lives of others, can he learn to trust again? Can he finally belong somewhere, after a lifetime running from ghosts?

Or will this damaged soldier cause more harm than good?
